If you go a couple of blocks off Main Street, you can also stop into the Old Courthouse Museum to learn a little about the history of Durand. Or if you’re feeling adventurous you can hop on the Chippewa River State Trail from Main Street and head out for a hike, stopping at Tarrant Park along the way.

Downtown Stockholm
Another Pepin County community with a charming downtown area is Stockholm, located on the Mississippi River. Stockholm offers a unique river community with one of a kind shopping, eateries, and museums on the Great River Road. If you are looking for a charming downtown in Pepin County with unique locally owned shops, Stockholm may be the perfect place for you.
