Intermediate Spanish

$15 class Saturday, Feb. 22, 10:00-11:30, School Library Join Spanish instructor Thistle Petterson for a fastpaced session of energetic conversation and discussion in Spanish. Activities will include: • Introductions. Think of statements about your life. Two truths and one lie. • Quick grammar review-preterit and the imperfect in verb conjugation when talking about the past. • Read and discuss a current article from a Spanish newspaper. Minimum 3, maximum 10 students Instructor: Thistle Petterson lived in Spain for two years with the intention of learning Spanish. She taught English to Spaniards for a living while there and taught college level Spanish while attending graduate school upon returning to the United States. All of these experiences combined have provided her with many tools to teach Spanish.
